As part of the celebrations around Bristol's Architecture Centre's 20th birthday, artist Jennie Savage was commissioned to engage in a playful and social process.
Jennie's Sounding City project explored the theme of 'people and place' through conversation - seeking to map and annotate the city of Bristol through a series of musical responses to a body of research made over the summer of 2016.
Following on from this research, on Sunday the 25th September at 'Our Place Street Party' event - organised by the Architecture Centre - the performances were performed live on the harbourside at Narrow Quay.
The stage for the event, was an outcome of a brief set to us - UWE's Masters of Architecture students - through a week long project in collaboration with Jennie Savage and the Architecture Centre.
